Amnesty Film Screening - Lubicon Documentary   Print

Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 2:30pm in Regina, join us to Demand Dignity when we will be screening Amnesty International's new documentary on the struggle of the Lubicon Cree: "Our Land, My People".  At the Exchange (the Club side) at 2431 8th Avenue.   

The Lubicon Cree are an Indigenous people living in Northern Alberta.   United Nations human rights bodies have repeatedly expressed concern that the rights of the Lubicon Cree have been left unprotected in favour of oil and gas interests.

For more information or if you would like to arrange to borrow a copy of this documentary to show at your school or community organization, to support the struggle of the Lubicon Cree email regina@amnestysaskatchewan.ca
