This is an invitation for you to attend a
Community Retreat, which is being held on this upcoming Sunday, July 24th. The
intent of this retreat is multi-fold. We hope to re-connect with one another on
a personal level; do some visioning for the future of our community and
organizing; look at the barriers we face, individually and collectively as
social justice workers; and, finally, engage in dialogue on how the seeds
of change can continue working towards the goal of creating and supporting
progressive social change. Our sincere hope is that we will come away
from the day with a sense of ownership, direction, and renewed passion for the
work in which we engage.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of prior involvement within the community.
Whether you are just starting out and full of energy or you have been
organizing for years and want to get reinvigorated, we want to see you there!
