We are a group of volunteers looking to help brighten the lives of those less fortunate. Perhaps you have heard of us on the news, in the newspaper, Community News, or on the radio raising money for wheelchairs for Rwanda.
On March 24th
at 5:30 pm, we will be hosting a fundraising Potluck Dinner and Movie night at the
Regina City Hall Forum, which is located at 2476 Victoria Avenue.
Since the start of our
mission in January, 2006, we have raised enough money and assisted with the
delivery of 280 wheelchairs in Rwanda. After
hearing of our mission the California Rotary Club sent and assisted with the
delivery of 1120 wheelchairs. The total
of wheelchairs sent and delivered to Rwanda is 1400.
But there are many more
people in Rwanda who are disabled and in need of wheelchairs, so our job has
just begun! Through gracious donations
from the public, we have had one more carton of wheelchairs donated and will be
sent to Rwanda in the near future.
If you can find it
in your heart to assist us, any donations would be graciously accepted and
appreciated. Or if you would like to
join us for supper, the cost is $5 for 12 years & under, $10 with a food
item, or $15 without. Please purchase
tickets by March 20th, 2007.

donation directly to Wheelchair Foundation Canada towards the purchase of a
wheelchair and get a tax receipt, or to get more information visit the web site
