In this video by independent journalist Paul Manly, suspected undercover cops seek the protection of the police line after being unmasked by a union leader. Close examination of the video revealed the three rock-weilding undercover officers were all wearing the same police-issue boots, evidence that the protestors' suspicians were not unfounded.
Update Aug. 24 (IMC Sask): The Quebec provincial police have now admitted the men belonged to them. The QPP's story, stated in an interview with Canadian Press, was that the agents were only discovered because they refused to join the crowd in rock-throwing. The video shows union leaders demanding the men drop the rocks they were holding and leave the protest line. Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day has flatly rejected calls for a public inquiry.
