The
Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives has released The Harper Record,
a detailed account of the laws, policies, regulations, and initiatives
of the Conservative minority government from January 2006 to September
2008. The book includes commentary on the economy, the environment and
social programs, as well as several international policy areas
including international trade and investment policy (written by CCIC's
Policy Co-ordinator Gauri Sreenivasan), Canada's international human
rights record (John Foster), climate change (Graham Saul and Toby
Sanger), biofuels policy (Pat Mooney) and military and defence policy
