Happy E-Day! Here are some resources to share with your
friends and family as they digest their turkey.
Rabble.ca's multi-author
blog includes entries by David Suzuki, Brian McKenna, Matthew Good,
James Laxer, Jim Stanford, and many more critical thinkers. Launched on
September 7 with the intention of bringing together the best progressive analysis
on the election all in one place, the response to the initiative has been
overwhelming, according to rabble editors. Rabble will also be holding a running
online discussion as results roll in.
You may also want to tune into The Tyee, a site that so far
has provided excellent, thoughtful coverage of all things political.
If you know voters who still have homework to do, check out Harper's
Record, by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives.
There will also be a full constellation of bloggers out
there ready to take issue with the Elections Act by publishing polling results
from other time zones. In an election where strategic voting sits front and
centre, expect the Election Act gates to come down once and for all.
