The Uranium Development Partnership (UDP) report outlines uranium exploration and mining, upgrading, power generation, used fuel management and research, development and training. The Government has received the UDP report, but no decisions will be made until a full public consultation process is complete. Though the public meetings have been completed, there are other opportunities to get informed and get involved. But the deadline for written submissions is coming fast - July 31.  - Individuals and stakeholders who want to provide input but don't want to attend a meeting or don't have Internet access can send written submissions through regular mail to: "The Future of Uranium in Saskatchewan" P.O. Box 7, Regina, SK, S4P 2Z5; and

·    Individuals and stakeholders can call toll-free (1-877-791-4667) to request a copy of the Uranium Development Partnership Report or Executive Summary; and

·    An online workbook is available for individuals and stakeholders to submit online. They can also download a copy, fill it out and fax it to 306-787-3989 or mail it to P.O. Box 7, Regina, SK, S4P 2Z5; and

Remember, the www.saskuranium.ca website contains the full UDP report, the report's Executive Summary, presentation materials, and online input opportunities.  (Ultimately, once the public consultation process is complete, the results will also be available on line.)  Individuals and stakeholders can send written submissions either on-line, by email or by regular mail until July 31.  Dan Perrins will submit a Final Report to the Government of Saskatchewan on the public consultations by August 31, 2009.

Visit http://www.saskuranium.ca/ and click on “get involved”.
