Reclaiming Space and Spirit-Vigil for Missing and
Murdered Women-REGINA
Monday, October 4 4:00-7:00pm CBC Saskatchewan (2440 Broad Street) Come
together in beauty and strength of numbers to honour the missing and murdered
women in our province. Joining more than 70 communities across the country in
raising awareness -- October 4th is an important day to mark and call people to
action. Beginning at 4:00 pm at the CBC galleria (corner of Broad street and
College Avenue) people are encouraged to visit an engaging art installation,
take part in a collaborative soul (sole) painting, paint banners, listen to
drumming by the Rainwater Singers, enjoy chili and bannock, and visit the tables
of several organizations in the community who are doing more to raise
awareness. At 6:30 the blessing and performance will begin....leading us into
the candlelight vigil down Broad St. Everyone is welcome and this is very much a
