Regina's landlords have long had a voice at City Hall. Now tenants are organizing a city-wide united front to ensure their issues are heard, too. "Renter's voices are being silenced and isolated so that
profits could be made at their expense, as you already know," says organizer Terri Sleeva. The Regina Tenant's Association intends to develop united positions on issues such as rent control. Calling the initiative "long overdue in formation," Sleeva encourages renters and their supporters to attend an organizing meeting Saturday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the United Way, 1440 Scarth St.
